Turning Point held its Benefit Gala on October 4, 2012 at the elegant Crystal Plaza in Livingston, NJ. The event was a tremendous success raising nearly $130,000. On October 1, 2012, Prince Marketing Group presented Dave Winfield at this year’s ICP Conference in San Diego. Winfield participated in a two-hour Meet and Greet at Digital Ally’s booth. Gillette recently went through a Facebook redesign and they uploaded Knievel images in the timeline display part of their site. Users can now see the "year" and by clicking on it will see the corresponding image of event / person / property significant for that year. The Knievel image corresponds to the year 1971, in which the legendary daredevil set a world record in California by successfully jumping 19 cars. 1971 also happened to be the year in which Gillette launched the Trac II - the world's first twin blade system. Estate representatives of the late Smokin’ Joe Frazier have appointed Prince Marketing Group, who has served as the agent for Olympic and Undisputed World Heavyweight Champion Smokin’ Joe Frazier since 1994, to take care of the legend’s legacy. Frazier was diagnosed with liver cancer in late September 2011 and admitted to hospice care, passing away on November 7, 2011. Daughters of the late Smokin’ Joe, Renae Martin and Weata Colins, were named trustees of his estate and have called on officials at Prince Marketing Group to take over exclusive licensing responsibilities linked to their father. The firm will manage all areas of licensing and merchandising of the Champion’s name and likeness. Dennis Rodman recently was invited to attend the 2012 Bulgarian Basketball All-Star Game. Serving as the special guest, Rodman was extremely friendly during a press conference that preceded his participation in the show that took place in Sofia. Besides attending the game, Rodman held the press conference and lectured Bulgarian youngsters on the specifics of his preparation before basketball games. A site by Hotels.com encourages people to substitute their faces and the faces of friends for those of actors in videos that nod to “The Hangover.” In a Web promotion reminiscent of the movie, Hotels.com is encouraging people to cast themselves in their own hotel misadventures by substituting their faces and the faces of friends for those of actors in provocative videos. On a site for the campaign, TripYourFace.com, a user can upload a photo from a Facebook profile and profile photos of up to three friends. After choosing the actors to superimpose the faces onto, users crop uploaded faces, adjusting brightness and color to match those of the actors, and then are taken to a screen that features a hotel room in New York, Las Vegas or Paris. As in “The Hangover,” each features a tableau of unconscious characters in a room in disarray.
