BISCHOFF

Eric Bischoff has spent the last 23 years in the entertainment industry. During this time Eric has produced over 2,500 hours of original programming (over half of it live), 79 Pay-Per-View events that generated more than $300mm in revenue, Executive Produced two made for TV movies, produced over 1,500 live events around the world, and his book “Controversy Creates Cash” made the New York Times Best Seller list in the fall of 2007.

Bischoff Hervey Entertainment Television LLC

Currently a partner in Los Angeles based Bischoff Hervey Entertainment Television LLC, Eric is teamed with long time friend and business partner Jason Hervey (of ABC’s Emmy Award winning series: The Wonder Years). BHE TV launched in 2003, and since that time has produced television series and pilots for NBC, A&E, VH-1, CMT, E! Network, and TruTV. In addition to working with BHE TV, Eric is featured along with Hulk Hogan in an on-camera role on Spike TV’s weekly prime time series “iMPACT” and BHE TV is working with the producers of this series to expand their brand with new programming concepts…

Prior to launching Bischoff Hervey Entertainment Television, Eric joined long time competitor Vince McMahon in 2002 to be an on air character on the highly successful USA Network Series “RAW”. Eric spent 4 years with WWE before focusing all his energies on Bischoff Hervey Entertainment Television.

Turner Broadcasting 1991-1999

In 1991 Turner Broadcasting’s World Championship Wrestling recruited Eric as an on-camera talent. Eric’s entrepreneurial instincts and interests were catalysts for him to quickly make the transition from on-camera talent and move through the corporate ranks at Turner. Eric was promoted to Executive Producer in 1993, Vice President in 1994, Executive Vice President in 1996, and President in 1998.

Before leaving Turner Broadcasting in 1999, Eric had established WCW as the leader in the sports/entertainment category for nearly two years—out performing the WWE from 1996-1998. He was also responsible for growing the licensing, merchandising, pay-per-view, and live event business units to record levels, increasing revenues from $24 million in 1993 to $35 0million in 1998, building the division into a profit center for the first time since Ted Turner purchased the franchise in 1988.

Eric is married to his wife, Loree of 25 years. They split their time between Scottsdale, Arizona, Cody, Wyoming and Los Angeles, California. They have two children, Garett and Montanna.
