Los Angeles local American actor, director and business owner. He may perhaps be best known for his portrayals of the smooth-talking Eric “Otter” Stratton in the comedy film National Lampoon’s Animal House (1978) and of Vice President John Hoynes in the NBC drama The West Wing.
Matheson starred as Old Man Vreeke in the 2017 fantasy film Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, and recently played Henry Kaslan in the horror film Child’s Play. He has a long list of recognition in movies and TV-shows throughout his life. Matheson is on the cast acting in current Netflix series Virgin River. He’s been in commercials and campaigns for companies such as Volkswagen.
