Jerry West Virtual Q&A Event

Jerry West Virtual Q&A Event

On May 5, 2020, NBA legend and Prince Marketing Group client Jerry West virtually entertained  a legal firm utilizing Zoom with topics that included his favorite players of all-time, when the NBA might be able to resume their season and some of his fondest moments as an eight-time NBA champion and two-time NBA Executive of the Year. Other topics included how he became the NBA logo, how he came to be known as “Mr. Clutch”, and what it was like to have his number 44 retired by the Los Angeles Lakers.

In addition to the questions presented to Mr. West by the moderator for the evening, many of those attending the virtual Q&A were able to ask West some of their own questions. The virtual Q&A allows an up-close and personal connection with the guest of honor, in this instance the legendary fourteen-time NBA All-Star from the comfort of his own home.

West was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 1980 and voted as one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA history in 1996. After his playing career ended, West took over as head coach of the Lakers for three years and guided them during three seasons. He led Los Angeles into the playoffs each year and earned a Western Conference Finals berth once. He spent three seasons as coach guiding them and later on became a talent scout and then general manager.
