Since his professional debut on May 26, 1983, Vinny Paz (formerly Pazienza) has been one of boxing's most charismatic and exciting fighters. Very few fighters have had the same success in the ring, and at the box office, as Vinny has had. He had won five world titles at lightweight, junior middleweight, and super middleweight.

A horrific car accident left Paz with a broken neck not too long after the Dele win, and doctors told him his career was over. Never one to take no for an answer, Paz resumed workouts while still confined to a stabilizing halo that was literally drilled into his skull. The photographs of those workout sessions are some of the most powerful out-of-the-ring boxing moments ever captured on film. Paz returned to the ring with a win over future world champ Luis Santana in December of 1992, and reeled off nine consecutive wins before then IBF super middleweight champ Roy Jones stopped the streak in 1995.

Far from done, Paz would fight 14 more times, including the Pudwill bout, going 10-4 in those bouts. The names on Vinny's resume read like a who's who of boxing in the middle weight classes over the last two decades. Jeff Bumphus, Melvin Paul, Joe Frazier Jr., Harry Arroyo, Haugen, Roger Mayweather, Camacho, Garza, Dele, Santana, Brett Lally, Lloyd Honeyghan, Robbie Sims, Jacques LeBlanc, Roberto Duran, Jones Jr., Dana Rosenblatt, Herol Graham, Glenwood Brown, Aaron Davis, Eric Lucas.

Sixty times, Paz walked the aisle as a professional warrior, and sixty times he gave his many fans something to remember. In and out of the ring, Paz always brought a little something extra. His exploits in the nightclubs and casinos are nearly as well-remembered as his work in the prize ring. Now Paz has turned his attention to other exploits, sharing his talent and charisma in front of a camera.

Besides being a five-time world champion, Vinny has carried himself well outside the ring. Paz is more than happy to speak with fans and sign autographs, something which has made him a hero in his home state of Rhode Island. Soon, his popularity will transcend boxing. A major motion picture is in the works on Paz' life. Paz has been perfecting his own acting skills. He guest starred on an episode of Police Academy and has taken part in four feature films, including one with Sylvester Stallone.

If you are looking for a motivational speaker that will touch your heart or a friendly champion fighter to appear at your next event, you have come to the right place.
