MÖTLEY CRÜE lead singer and Prince Marketing Group client Vince Neil was among celebrity guests at the Wizard World convention on October 23-25 at the Cox Business Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Neil’s first-ever appearance at the event took place in the form of a one-day signing on October 24. Also scheduled to appear were actors Ted Raimi, Nathan Fillion, Bruce Campbell, Sean Astin and Ian Somerhalder. “When you see (comic sons) on TV, like blurbs and showing visuals of what people dress up like, that’s pretty cool. I just wanted to see the extent of the costumes of people as they go through. It was the first time I had ever been asked to do it and that’s kind of why. I see people going to comic-con and I have heard so much things about it that I always wanted to go, but with my schedule, I never had a chance to go.” Neil said he was looking forward to the convention and said it was a lot of fun. Asked if he “geeks out” about anything, he said, “I’m a big fan of supernatural stuff, ghosts and demons and that kind of stuff but not as much comic books. But the movies — like ‘The Avengers’ and stuff like that — are really, really cool. I don’t kind of geek out about it I guess, but that’s just what my tastes are.”
