Prince Marketing Group recently brought Tom Wopat to the Steel City Comic Con, one of the largest comic cons in the United States. Loyal fans lined up for hours to obtain an autograph, a photo and a quick chat. Those in attendance were also treated to a Q&A session with Tom and his Dukes of Hazzard co-star John Schneider, as well as the Duke boys’ famous car replica – the General Lee. Last fall, Wopat got together with his former co-star to release a CD of Christmas songs, “Home for Christmas.” The cover features stockings hung by the chimney with care and a tiny General Lee wrapped up in a bow. “It was my idea — I twisted his arm,” Wopat says. “I think it came out great. I wouldn’t say he was reluctant, but once we got him on tape, it was a lot of fun to mix and put comments in between songs, and fairly reflective of our relationship — a great deal of fun. We’ll be doing a live performance for some years to come.”
