PMG Negotiates with Christian Audigier to Launch Evel Knievel(R) Apparel Brand |
Christian Audigier announced today that he will launch a new clothing line inspired by the late American daredevil and icon, Evel Knievel(R). The line will be unveiled at "When I Move You Move(TM)", the Las Vegas trade show located at Caesar's Palace Hotel on August 25, 2008 at 3:00 p.m.
Steve Simon, a principal at the Prince Marketing Group, represented the Knievel family in helping to create this partnership. “The Knievel family fully entrusts Christian to capture everything Evel Knievel stood for,” said Simon. “With an International track record that includes the extremely popular Ed Hardy brand, we’re confident the Evel Knievel brand will be a huge success.” Prince Marketing Group exclusively represents the Evel Knievel brand for all licensing and intellectual property opportunities.
The Evel Knievel(R) brand captures the essence and excitement of the great American icon. The line of t-shirts and hoodies showcases iconic images related to the daredevil including his famous number 1, motorcycles, and even skeletal diagrams of his broken bones. Classic colors of red, white and blue are prevalent, and the line is printed using archival and cracked finish inks and flocking.
Christian Audigier worked closely with the Knievel family to ensure the designs are authentic and capture the persona of the motorcycle legend. The line appeals to buyers of all ages, including those who remember his extraordinary career firsthand and those who have recently been introduced to his stunts by modern, popular media.
