She appeared in the much anticipated feature film Starsky and Hutch opposite Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson.She also appeared in the movie, Out of Control in May of 2003 and had a starring role in Dracula II: Ascension in June 2003. Within her first year in Tinsel Town, Brande landed a co-starring role in the hugely popular Aaron Spelling drama, "Beverly Hills 90210." She followed that with a string of guest starring roles on shows like "Just Shoot Me", "Jesse", "Love Boat: The Next Wave," as well as being cast in a string of national commercials for products like Snickers, Mentos and Dr. Pepper. Brande's big break came in 2000 when she was asked to audition for "Baywatch Hawaii." During Brande's screen test, executive producer/writer Frank South felt she "hit it out of the park," and gave her the starring role of Leigh Dyer in the enormously popular show, which is syndicated to countries all around the world. Brande followed Baywatch by taking a bite out of reality, as one of the stars in "The Surreal Life" for The WB network that aired in January 2003. She also reprised her starring role as Leigh Dyer in the Baywatch reunion Movie, "Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding. She is starring in a new movie coming out in 2006 called Hood of Horror starring Snoop Dogg. |
